Sop for Mha Essay Wanting to become a manager for health care initiatives and institutions is very much a   product of my multi-cultural experience and the people’s desperate need for health care that   I was so very aware of growing up in my native Morocco. As a young Berber woman   raised in Casablanca, I was in an excellent position to appreciate the vast need in Africa for   improved health administration services, especially at fees that are accessible to the poor   majority, women in particular. As a cosmopolitan person who has also lived in France for 2 years and now the United   States, I find hope for my native Africa through international development organizations that   have developed missions dedicated to the improvement of health care administration in the   Third World, Africa in particular. I think that I am a natural for health care promotion on an   international level because of my high level of motivation, dedication to my studies, and my   multi-lingual ability. I speak and write French very well and I am also a strong speaker and   average writer in Arabic—in addition to English and the tongue of my native heritage,   Berber. My long term professional goal in life is to some day be able to harness my passion for a   more just and humane world to the practical skills that will enable me to make a significant   contribution, especially to the medically underserved members of our global human society. I look forward to working on an international level for a government agency or global non- profit organization dedicated to the promotion of health care in Africa. Show the Moral Influence on Pip in Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations Symbolism as it is used in literature aims to project the internal aspects of an individual’s character through the external aspects in reality. Charles Dickens, in his novel, Great Expectations uses symbolism in order to reflect other individuals’ moral influence on Pip. Consider for example the following instances. In the novel’s initial chapter, one is presented with the character of Pip who is described as an orphan with a vivid imagination. As he recounts his initial experiences in life, Pip mentions that his â€Å"most vivid and broad impression of the identity of things, seems†¦to have been gained on a memorable raw afternoon towards evening† (Dickens, 1992, p. 3). It was during this evening that Pip met the convict, Magwitch. The use of symbolism in his encounter with Magwitch is evident as Pip’s initial introduction to the villainous aspects of man’s nature, in the form of Magwitch, occurred during the transition from day to night. One sees here how Dicken’s uses the shift from day to night as a means of shifting the mood within the novel in such a way that will prepare the reader for his encounter with an individual who is in possession of a questionable moral character. In addition to this, one perceives here the manner through which Magwitch’s moral character affects Pip’s moral disposition as Pip was introduced to committing morally questionable actions through his chance encounter with Magwitch. As opposed to the use of darkness as a means of symbolizing the immoral aspects of man, Dickens also uses the light as a means of symbolizing the moral aspects of man. For example, one is presented with Pip’s initial encounter with Estella. The notion that he is raising is exactly the type of selfish and closed minded way of thinking that sets back the progress in solving the issue of poverty and homelessness in America. In fact, a study taken in 2015 gathered that with more interaction and willingness to help the homeless, the more empathy and compassion is gained for them, later resulting in a larger contribution from society creating a social change. I obtained this information based on a survey taken by Lindsay Phillips, a physiologist, that took it upon herself to ask working, undergraduate college students to describe their perceptions of homelessness, willingness to get involved, and ideas towards a solution.
